DESIGNER'S CHOICE CHALLENGE AT THE HOUSE THAT STAMPS BUILT

Hello there blog friends!!!! 

 It's DCC at The House That Stamps Built and this time I'm the designer that creates the challenge!!!  Yippeeee!!! 

 My challenge this week is (in honor of summer) Sun, Sand and Surf!  
I created the bg on this card with my Faber-Castell Gelatos on watercolor paper.  I blended them with a semi-moist wipe, adding more color as needed until I got the results I was looking for.  I love the texture the watercolor paper gave this bg.  Adding the fussy cut RI Stamp #8719-G "Flip Flops", and #2704-G "Life's a Beach" sentiment as well as the umbrella die colored with Copic Markers, finished off this CAS card.

    I love your card - I am going to try your technique of a wipe with gelatos. This is a bright and happy card!

    This is a great challenge, Cheri!! LOVE your background, it's so pretty and looks much more difficult than how it sounds when you explain what you did. Those little patterned flip flops and super cute!
