CAS AT OUTLAWZ CHALLENGES THIS WEEK
Hi blog friends!
Linda Anderson has a new CAS Challenge over at Outlawz Challenges this week and for me it WAS a challenge. She's asking us to use ONLY black and white on our cards....no color!!! YIKES!!!!!
I'm always reaching for some color to add to my card projects so to be limited to just the black and white proved more difficult than I thought. Why not stretch your CAS style in this limited way and see what you might come up with.
I created two cards for the challenge - the first one was my attempt at some sponge stenciling and then building layers with Dylusions "White Linen" ink spray and heat embossing. The foreground floral stamps were a free gift from PTI.
The butterfly was cut twice, once in black cs and once in white from a Cheery Lynn die and was a gift from my sweet, sweet Scottish Sister and Aussie friend, Ina Grehan. (Thank you, SS).
My second card is one that just came together from scraps on my table. The buttons came from the discount bin at Michaels several months back.
I hope you'll grab some time this week and head on over to Linda's CAS challenge at Outlwaz and play along. Don't forget, there's a new challenge at the Outlawz every day.
Thanks so much for stopping by and I hope you all have a great week!!!

Oh my goodness, what fun! That first card is gorgeous, and I love the second card. What personality and creativity! Great job on both cards, Cheri! Hugs...
ReplyDeleteCheri- you did a great job with just black and white! Very cool.
