What If? Wednesday at Repeat Impressions

Hello blog friends!


I'm back with another fabulous sketch challenge for What If? Wednesday at Repeat Impressions aka The House That Stamps Built Blog. 

Wendy has come up with another fabulous sketch for us so we hope you'll join us in the challenge. 


I'm still in a patriotic frame of mind so used the red, white and blue color scheme to create this card.  I'm really giving the new Big Boys Toys stamp set some love and attention lately.  It's so much fun to ink up and stamp with. 

For this card I used two silhouette stamps, Big Boys Toys #9111-I, Bi-plane Silhouette, inking it with Distress Ink "Red Barn".  I then masked it and stamped the cloud #5105-I, Cloud Sil. (lg) Memento "London Fog" ink.  The stamping left a distressed look to the larger cloud, but I liked it as it added some texture to the cloud itself (or so I thought).  The sentiment is from the Big Boys Toys set too.  My bg dp is from the new Authentique "Glory" 6x6 paper pad.

    I am so far behind on commenting......sorry, but the kitchen is done, I have discovered one thing, I'm to old for that kinda stuff LOL. Awesome card, but then all of your work is!!!
