STAMPTV CSS ALUMNI JANUARY BLOG HOP

Welcome!! to another StampTV Center Stage Spotlight Design Team Blog Hop.
It's a sketch hop, and the fantastic sketch was designed by our own Melissa Cash.

If you've come from my super talented friend Carla's blog youre in the right place.   If you didn't, you may want to start HERE at the beginning so you don't miss any of the fabulous inspiration.

Make sure to leave a comment as you hop along because on Tuesday morning (January 17), we will randomly choose one of the comments from all the blogs and that person will receive a huge grab bag of fabulous Gina K. Designs Stamps!

Here's Melissa's sketch....

Here's my card using Melissa's sketch.

Using the cracked glass technique for my focal image I creatated layers of texture and details in order to give this little winter bird a "waiting for spring" effect.
I'm a BIG technique junkie - therefore, I subscribe to TJN....the bg is a technique combination of Texture Plate Smoosh (Dec/Jan 2010 TJN) and Antique Wallpaper (June/July 2010).   This is one of my favorite sets from GKD.

Stamps:  GKD "Winter Wings"
All CS is GKD Pure Luxury.
Copic Markers used for coloring both the image and the brads on the corners.
Flowers are Prima.
Dies:  Spellbinders
Punch:  MS.

Thank you for stopping by....don't forget...leave a message and be entered into the win for the grab bag....then head on over to the uber talented Geri's Blog for more fantastic inspiration.
