Vintage Art

Hi there blogger friends,
I got a membership for Technique Junkies Newsletter a while back and in the June/July 2011 issue there is a technique called "Vintage Art".  I followed the instructions "to the letter" and what a fabulous result I got!  If you're not familiar with this publication, check it out.

Here's my card using the vintage art technique.

The stamp I used is a beauty from "I Brake For Stamps".  The dp is from Basic Grey "Out of Print" 6x6 paper pack.  My card stock is from Gina K Designs Pure Luxury line.  The rose was colored using Copic Markers.
Thanks for stopping by!

  1. Cheri, this is so gorgeous...love the pindot bg(reminds me of wallpaper) and the doilie...your photo corners are perfect with this and the pearl center for your bow, yummmy. So glad you stopped by today and your desire to follow, not sure it took as I don't see your name. Since you did such an awesome job with vintage, you might want to check the blog I design for-Sugar Creek Hollow where our emphasis is on vintage, shabby chic and retro, this week our theme is wing things and we post a new challenge each Saturday. So sorry to be so long winded, have a great rest of your week.
