JUGS #93
Hi blogger friends!
JUGS (Just Us Girls) is having a color challenge this week and I wanted to play along. I love the color scheme they found -
I had a difficult time coming up with something "coral". While I have dp that I could have used, nothing I tried appealed to me. So I used my Copic Markers to color a stamp and gave it some coral shading.
I used a reverse Nestabilities technique on this card, cutting a circle in the center of the grey panel and then arranging my colored piece in the empty area. I then cut a frame using two scalloped circle Nestabilities and adhered it to the front of the colored circle. So while this photo isn't too clear, the card has an extra dimension to the front panel. I added some pretty coral shaded seam binding and an embellishment from my stash. The stamps are from the Flourish "Cherry Blossom" set.
Thanks for stopping by - keep cool! It was a scorcher here today!
