If you have come here from the fabulously talented Carolina's blog, then you're in the absolute right place. If you didn't, we invite you to take the hop from the beginning and enjoy each and every fabulous project from the StampTV CSS Alumni DT.
I made two cards for this challenge. I hope they give you some inspiration and we all hope you'll join us in this challenge and make a paper pieced card and post it to the blog forum.
Here's my first card
Stamp sets: "Little Critters" by Theresa Momber and "Wild at Heart" by Melanie Muenchinger.
CS: Pure Luxury Ivory, Green Grass and Creme de Menthe.
DP: Basic Grey "Sweet Threads" used in paper piecing.
Here's my second card:
Stamp Sets: "Bold and Beautiful" which is FREE right now at StampTV. Check out the details HERE. I used GKD PL Ivory and Vibrant Violet CS. DP is "Sweet Threads" by Basic Grey. The iris was paper pieced using the same plaid paper on the layering panel. I really liked how it turned out. The pearls were white and colored with Copic #BV08.
Thanks so much for hopping with us.
Now keep hopping over to the fabulously gifted Giovana's blog for more inspiration.
Have a great weekend!

ReplyDeleteBoth cards are adorable but I too like the froggy and mushroom the best.
ReplyDeleteWe had a hurricaine one year - Ivan - and at the height of the storm we couldn't hear anything but wind and more wind except the frogs singing in the rain barrel just outside our bedroom window - could not believe they could be so loud!!! Made me feel like as long as the frogs didn't mind then the storm would pass and we would be ok....and we were. Frogs are good luck!!!
What a sweet blessing to create for your friend. I pray that your card encourages her and renews her faith.
ReplyDeleteLove both of your cards. The paper piecing is great and the colors inviting.
