Here is Melissa's great sketch
Here's what I came up with:
This will be used as a tag on a gift. I love these colors together and really like how this tag came out.
The DP is from StampTV Kit Sent with Love. The balloon is stamped from the StampTV kit Eclectic Summer using Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and then colored the dots were made with Copic Markers. The circles are made with Nestabilities and layered on a doily I got from Michaels. CS is GKD, Lipstick Red and White. The "ribbon" greeting is a Nestability label die and MS punch created the pine sprigs.
I then thought this sketch would look great layered on a card so I created this card with the sketch as a focal image.
For this card I used stamp set "Nesting" by Asela Hopkins. The CS is GKD Pure Luxury white, Sand, Ocean Mist. The BG is done with CuttleBug folder branches. DP is Prima Madeline paper, the strip of music notes is Tim Holz ribbon. Spellbinder pendant die and circle Nestabilities. The eggs were embellished with Liquid Pearls White Opels and then colored with Copic Marker BG01. The feathers are real.
Thank you so much for stopping by, and don't forget to play along with us.
Be sure to leave a comment as you hop along because on Tuesday morning (May 17th), we will randomly choose one of the comments from all the blogs and one of them will be drawn to win a Gina K Designs stamp set of their choice valued up to $24.95! GOOD LUCK!
