CSS Inspiration Blog Hop



Welcome!  It's the first blog hop for the StampTV Center Stage Spotlight Design Team of February 2011 and I absolutely LOVE the inspirational photo we've been given for this hop.  It's from Southern Living Magazine and suggested by our own Miesje Flach.  Good eye, Miesje.

Would you look at the color, detail and dimension in this photo?  I am going to play with this inspiration photo a lot more, but for this hop, I made this card as my interpretation of the inspiration.




Details:  CS:  GKD PL  Ivory, Lipstick Red and Chocolate Brown.  Cuttlebug "Branches" folder was used for the textured background.  Stamp set:  Sentiment is from "Arranged with Love", by Melanie Muenchinger .  DP:  Basic Grey Curio.  Flourishes were cut using a Tim Holtz Alterations Dye.  Spellbinders Nestabilities and MS butterfly punch.  Stickles and Pearls were used for detail.

    Cheri, absolutely gorgeous! Those flourishes with the sentiment circle represent that branch wreath in the inspiration beautifully.

    This is breath-taking, Cheri! Gorgeous colors, beautiful patterns, graceful curves...and I love the symbolism of hope the butterflies represent! Altogether lovely!
