Vintage Sympathy
Hi friends,
I thought I'd play along in a couple of challenges with this card. Several of my friends at StampTV have posted gorgeous cards for a challenge over at Joan's Gardens blog for and I was inspired to play along. This is my card for Joan's #2 challenge and Brenda's Inspiration Challenge over at StampTV this week.
CS: GKD Pure Luxury White and Ivory. DP: Webster's Pages Petite Papers Lullaby Lane & Life's Portrait that I cut and pieced against a CB embossed background distressed with Tim Holtz, Antique Linen distress ink. MS trellis punch was also used to enhance the layered background. The sentiment is from GKD "Showtime Stamp Kit, Spring Mix" and was stamped with Vivid "Tea Rose", and cut in a Spellbinder Shapeabilities Ribbon Tag. The ivory colored silk ribbon is from my stash as are the Prima Flowers.
I hope you all have a wonderful weekend!
Thanks so much for stopping by.
Cheri

ReplyDeleteCheri, thanks so much for playing my challenge.
ReplyDeleteYour card is beautiful. I love how you used the Garden Trellis on top of your Embossed paper. The flowers add so much. I love everything about this vintage card. Great job!!!!
